In other modules, we have discussed how to use AI tools and models that are prebuilt for azure. In this module, we’ll discuss and demonstrate how to use azure AI foundry to set up specialised and specific AI models for your research endeavours.

Unlike Azure Open AI, Foundry allows you to pick specific models from a wider range of services, have multiple models deployed from the same service, and keep a long running database of documents your models can consult. Foundry also allows you to put in place guard rails and other protections on each agent model.
