Overview of Azure AI

What is Azure? Introduction

Virtual Machines

Azure Virtual Machines offer powerful computing resources in the cloud, eliminating the need for expensive on-site hardware. Whether you need to run complex molecular simulations or analyse vast genomic datasets, VMs provide the flexibility to scale computing power as your research demands.

In this module, we will cover how to build, access, and transfer your data to a pre-configured computing environment. We'll walk you through the various custom images and compute sizes that work for different research steps. We'll also touch upon GPU-based VMs, although these resources are not available in the free Azure subscription.
